Installation with Other provider or custom HTML
The line of code below is a sample. Your own line with your ID is in your account.
The line belongs on every page, directly before </body>.
Requirement: Your system has a field for custom code, or you can edit the HTML files.
Not possible here: Builders and plans without a field for custom code. This is usually stated in the provider’s plan overview under “custom code”, “HTML” or “own code”.
Step by step
- In your website’s settings look for the field for custom code. It is often called “Custom Code”, “HTML embed”, “Footer code”, “Scripts” or “Tracking code”.
- If there are several places, take the one for all pages and for the end of the page (“Footer”, “before </body>”). The head works too.
- Paste the line of code, save and publish the website.
- With HTML files of your own: put the line into every page, directly before </body>.
- Then click “Check installation” in your account.
Your line of code
<script src="https://app.nexjuai.com/widget.js" data-kennung="IHRE-KENNUNG" defer></script>Good to know
- If you find no such field, use the button “Create an email to my web designer” or ask the help assistant at the bottom right.
- If your system changes the line when saving (some remove the data-kennung part), use the second version in which the ID is in the address.
- If your builder allows no custom code at all: the assistant is also available as a page of its own with link and QR code. You switch it on in your account under “Code & installation” → “Link and QR code” and link to it on your website.
