Installation with Duda

The line of code below is a sample. Your own line with your ID is in your account.

Under “Settings” → “Header HTML” into the “Body End HTML” field.

Requirement: According to Duda, custom code is available from the “Team” plan. If you get the builder through another provider (many sell Duda under their own name), your editor shows whether the entry is there.

Not possible here: Plans without custom code: if the “Header HTML” entry is missing in the settings, your plan allows no code of your own.

Video, 87 seconds, no sound: the click path as a diagram, step by step. No screenshots; the same steps are below for reading.

Step by step

  1. In the editor click “More” in the side panel and then “Settings”.
  2. Click “Header HTML”.
  3. Paste the line of code into the “Body End HTML” field. Duda loads what is there at the end of every page.
  4. Save and republish the website.
  5. Check on the published website, not in the preview: according to Duda, custom code sometimes behaves differently in the preview.

Good to know

  • Duda recommends creating a backup of the website before adding custom code.
  • According to Duda, the “Head HTML” field only accepts certain tags and removes everything else. So use “Body End HTML”.
