Installation with Wix
The line of code below is a sample. Your own line with your ID is in your account.
In the site dashboard under “Custom Code”, position “Body – end”.
Requirement: According to Wix, the site must be published and have a connected domain.
Not possible here: Free Wix sites (address with “wixsite.com”): at Wix a domain of your own can only be connected with a premium plan, and without a connected domain there is no custom code.
Step by step
- Open your site’s dashboard and click “Settings”.
- In the “Development & integrations” section, click “Custom Code”.
- Click “+ Add Custom Code” at the top right.
- Paste the line of code into the text box and give it a name, for example “Assistant”.
- Under “Add Code to Pages”, choose “All pages”.
- Under “Place Code in”, choose “Body – end”.
- Click “Apply”.

- Wix asks for a category for the code. It determines whether the code only loads after your visitors have consented. The assistant sets no cookies and stores nothing in your visitors’ browsers. Which category fits your website is your decision.
- According to the Wix help, since December 2025 individual code snippets may be blocked by new security measures. If the assistant does not appear after installation, please write to us.
