Installation with STRATO

In STRATO SmartWebsite in the website editor under the settings as code in the head.

Requirement: Your website is built with STRATO SmartWebsite (the editor is in the “Presence Suite”). If a WordPress runs at STRATO, the WordPress guide applies.

Not possible here: For other STRATO builders and for websites from the STRATO design service, the STRATO help names no way to add code of your own. In that case ask STRATO customer service before you book.

Step by step

1. Sign in to STRATO, open the “Presence Suite” and click the website editor.
2. In the main menu at the left edge choose the settings (“Einstellungen”).
3. Look for the place where code can be added in the head and paste the line of code there.
4. Save and publish the website again. According to STRATO, changes are only visible after that.
5. Open your website in a new window. The assistant appears at the bottom edge.

Good to know

• The code in the head applies to all pages of the website. An embed element on a single page is not enough: the assistant should be there on every page.
