Installation with Google Sites
Not possible here: Google Sites only embeds custom code as a box at one place on the page (“Insert” → “Embed” → “Embed code”) or as a full page. Google Sites does not provide for a script that loads on every page and sits above the page at the edge. That is exactly what the assistant needs. We have not tried it ourselves.
- What works anyway: the assistant is also available as a page of its own with link and QR code, without any installation. You switch it on in your account under “Code & installation” → “Link and QR code” and link to it on your Google Sites page, for example as a button.
- If you want to move your website anyway: for the other providers in this list, each guide says in which plan custom code works.
- If you did get it to run on Google Sites, please write to us. Then we will add it to this page.
