Installation with Jimdo

The line of code below is a sample. Your own line with your ID is in your account.

Only with Jimdo Creator: “Settings” → “Edit Head”.

Requirement: Your website is built with Jimdo Creator. Your Jimdo dashboard shows which Jimdo product you use.

Not possible here: Jimdo Website Builder (formerly “Dolphin”): according to the Jimdo help, no HTML of your own, no JavaScript and no third-party widget can be added there. Installation is not possible with this product.

Video, 84 seconds, no sound: the click path as a diagram, step by step. No screenshots; the same steps are below for reading.

Step by step

  1. Sign in to your Jimdo Creator website and open the “Menu” at the top left.
  2. Open “Settings” → “Edit Head”.
  3. Paste the line of code into the field. If something is already there, put the line below it.

Good to know

  • If you see no “Edit Head” entry in the settings, it is not included in your plan or you are using Jimdo Website Builder.
  • If the website has problems after a change, Jimdo recommends copying the code out of “Edit Head” and removing it.
